Details

The King Air is the longest-running business turboprop line in the world: first flown in 1964, still in production, and still the same recipe of two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6As on a pressurised twin that will use a short runway. EASA certifies it across two data sheets and six models — the 4,581 kg C90 series on IM.A.503, and the B200, B200GT and B300 on IM.A.277, the last of them in the commuter category at 6,804 kg and up to 7,484 kg with the extended-range kit fitted.
