Privacy
No accounts, no advertising, no cookies, no tracking across sites. Here is the whole list of what is collected.

What is collected when you simply read
Page views. Vercel Web Analytics counts which pages are opened and roughly where in the world from. It sets no cookie and uses no identifier that can follow you to another site, so there is no consent banner on this site and no need for one.
Server logs. Vercel records each request, including your IP address, in the ordinary course of serving the page. These are operational records kept for a short period and are not used to build any profile of you.
One browser setting. Choosing metric or imperial stores that choice in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
What is collected if you use the API
Rate limiting counts requests against your IP address — or against your API key, if you have one — in a short-lived counter that expires within minutes. The counter holds a number, not a history of what you asked for.
What is collected if you write to us
The notification list. If you leave an address to hear about the API or the business-jet library, we store that address, the page the form was on, and the date. No name, no IP address, nothing else.
The contact form. Your subject and message, the page you opened the form from, and your email address only if you chose to give one — it is optional precisely so that reporting a wrong figure does not require identifying yourself.
Neither list is sold, rented, or shared with anyone, and neither is used for anything but the thing it was collected for.
Where it is kept
In Supabase (PostgreSQL) in Paris, eu-west-3, and served by Vercel functions pinned to Paris. Vercel and Supabase are processors acting on our instructions; the analytics figures are processed by Vercel and the rate-limit counters by Upstash.
How long it is kept
An address stays on the notification list until you ask for it to be removed. A contact message is kept while it is useful — a correction is worth being able to trace back to the person who reported it — and can be deleted on request. Rate-limit counters expire within minutes; server logs within Vercel’s retention period.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what is held about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, have a copy, or object to its processing. The honest version here is that unless you have written to us or joined the list, there is nothing held about you that could be looked up — an analytics page view and a server log are not tied to a name.
Ask through the contact form on the About page, and say which address you used — that is what we have to search by.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you may complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) or to the authority where you live.
Changes
If what is collected changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. This policy describes what the code does today, not every power the law might permit.
This page is written to be read and understood, not drafted by a lawyer, and it is not legal advice.
