Let L-410 Turbolet
Let Kunovice

Details
The Let L-410 Turbolet is the most-built Eastern European airliner still in service, and the 19-seat commuter that does in central Asia, Africa and South America what the Twin Otter does elsewhere. It has been in production at Kunovice since 1969 and is certified in seven models, from the 5,700 kg L-410 M to the 7,000 kg L 410 NG on GE H85 engines. Its unpaved-strip landing gear and unusually generous wing let it work from places most turboprops of its size cannot. The cruise speed, range, ceiling, climb rate and take-off distance are EUROCONTROL's figures for the L410 type code rather than a certificate's: a type certificate states limits and weights, not cruise performance, and the source does not distinguish sub-variants.
