The L-420 is the UVP-E on the more powerful M601F, built for hot and high work. It is 4 cm shorter than the UVP-E on the certificate's own figures — 14.424 m against 14.467 — and carries the same 6,600 kg. The cruise speed, range, ceiling, climb rate and take-off distance are EUROCONTROL's figures for the L410 type code rather than a certificate's: a type certificate states limits and weights, not cruise performance, and the source does not distinguish sub-variants.
