Ilyushin IL-114
Ilyushin Aviation Complex

Details
The Ilyushin IL-114 is a twin-engine turboprop regional airliner developed by the Ilyushin Aviation Complex in Russia. First flown in 1990, the IL-114 was designed to replace the aging Antonov An-24 and An-26 on regional routes across the Soviet Union and later Russia. The aircraft features a high-wing configuration with two Klimov TV7-117 turboprop engines, providing efficient operation on short to medium regional routes. Designed for 64 passengers in a typical single-class layout, the IL-114 can operate from unprepared runways and in harsh weather conditions. The family includes the original IL-114-100 with Western engines and the modernized IL-114-300 with Russian TV7-117ST engines and updated avionics. Production resumed in the 2020s with the IL-114-300 variant featuring domestically-produced components. The aircraft serves with operators including Uzbekistan Airways and is positioned as a modern regional turboprop for Russian and CIS markets.
