Embraer ERJ Family
Embraer

Details
The Embraer ERJ family is a series of twin-engine regional jets developed by Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer. Introduced in the mid-1990s, the ERJ series marked Embraer's entry into the regional jet market and became highly successful. The family consists of three main variants: the ERJ-135 (37 passengers), ERJ-140 (44 passengers), and ERJ-145 (50 passengers). All variants feature a distinctive T-tail configuration with two Rolls-Royce AE 3007 turbofan engines mounted on the rear fuselage. The ERJ family was derived from the earlier EMB-120 Brasilia turboprop and shares a similar fuselage cross-section. Known for their reliability and efficiency, ERJ aircraft became popular with regional airlines worldwide, particularly in North America. Over 1,000 ERJ aircraft were delivered before production ended in 2020, replaced by the more advanced E-Jet series.
