Details

The Saab 340 is the best-selling Swedish airliner and the aeroplane that made 34-seat regional flying pay on both sides of the Atlantic. It began as a joint venture with Fairchild, which is why the first ones are SF340s, and grew from the 12,930 kg SF340A to the 13,605 kg 340B on more powerful engines and, later, extended wing tips that take the span from 21.44 m to 22.75 m.
