About

The TriStar 250 is the -100 airframe given the 500's strengthened wing and undercarriage, taking it to 510,000 lb take-off weight on 178,360 lb of fuel — a full-length TriStar with the long-range aeroplane's structure. The certificate reaches it not as a new build but as a conversion, under Service Bulletin 093-51-023. The cruise speed, cruise Mach, range, ceiling, climb rate, wingspan, length, height and take-off distance are EUROCONTROL's figures for the L101 type code rather than a certificate's: a type certificate states limits and weights, not cruise performance, and the source does not distinguish sub-variants.
