About

The L-1011-385-1-14 covers the TriStar 100 and 200, the longer-range developments with more fuel and, on the 200, the more powerful RB211-524 engine for hot-and-high work. It is the only one of the four certified models the certificate does not approve up to 510,000 lb: its single column stops at 466,000 lb take-off and 320,000 lb zero fuel. The cruise speed, cruise Mach, range, ceiling, climb rate, wingspan, length, height and take-off distance are EUROCONTROL's figures for the L101 type code rather than a certificate's: a type certificate states limits and weights, not cruise performance, and the source does not distinguish sub-variants.
