About

The Mark 500 is the stretched Friendship, approved in May 1968: the Mark 200 or 600 with a longer fuselage for 59 passengers against 48, and the heaviest F27 at 20,820 kg. It is the shape the Fokker 50 inherited — the 50 is the same length on the same certificate, thirty years newer. Dimensions are EUROCONTROL's figures for the F27 type code rather than the certificate's: EASA TCDS A.036 states no dimension for any Mark, and the source does not distinguish them.
