Embraer E195
Embraer

About
The Embraer E195 is the largest member of the original E-Jet family, typically seating 108-124 passengers. First flown in 2004 and entering service in 2006, the E195 features a fuselage stretched by 3.1 meters compared to the E190, along with the same larger wing and powerful GE CF34-10E engines. The E195 was designed to compete directly with the smaller variants of the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 families while offering superior economics on thinner routes and better passenger comfort. It features the signature E-Jet 2-2 seating configuration throughout the cabin, eliminating middle seats and providing larger overhead bins. Available in STD, LR, and AR variants, with range up to 4,260 km. The E195 shares 95% parts commonality with the E190 and 89% with E170/E175, providing excellent fleet flexibility. The aircraft has been popular with airlines seeking mainline comfort with regional jet economics. Production ended in 2020, with the type succeeded by the E195-E2 featuring more efficient engines and improved performance.
