About
The first Do 28, at 2,450 kg on two Lycoming O-540 pistons. Its section gives a take-off weight and nothing else — no landing weight, no zero fuel weight — and counts occupants rather than passengers, six to eight depending on which seat bench is fitted. The cruise speed, range, ceiling and climb rate are EUROCONTROL's figures for the D28D type code rather than a certificate's: a type certificate states limits and weights, not cruise performance, and the source does not distinguish sub-variants.
