The short-fuselage 228, 15.04 m long and seating 20. It and the 228-101 are the only models on the certificate with the short body; everything else is the 16.56 m one. The cruise speed, range, ceiling, climb rate and take-off distance are EUROCONTROL's figures for the D228 type code rather than a certificate's: a type certificate states limits and weights, not cruise performance, and the source does not distinguish sub-variants.
