Bombardier Aerospace

Details
The Bombardier CRJ-900 is a 86-90 seat regional jet representing a stretched and more powerful development of the CRJ-700. Introduced in 2003, the CRJ-900 features an even longer fuselage, upgraded CF34-8C5 engines with increased thrust, and enhanced passenger amenities. It became the most successful member of the CRJ family with 481 aircraft delivered. The CRJ-900 offers excellent economics in the 90-seat category and introduced further refinements to the Next-Generation design. Available in standard and extended-range (ER) variants, it serves regional carriers worldwide. A special variant, the CRJ-705, was created with reduced seating for scope clause compliance. Production ended in 2021 as part of the overall CRJ program conclusion.
