Bombardier CRJ-705
Bombardier Aerospace

About
The Bombardier CRJ-705 is a variant of the CRJ-900 with reduced seating capacity, created specifically to comply with scope clause restrictions in airline pilot union contracts. Developed exclusively for Air Canada, the CRJ-705 features a premium dual-class cabin with 10 business-class seats and 65 economy seats for a total of 75 passengers. Physically identical to the CRJ-900 with the same dimensions, weights, and performance, the CRJ-705 is differentiated only by its interior configuration and winglet design. Only 16 aircraft were built, all for Air Canada, making it one of the rarest CRJ variants. Most have since been reconfigured to standard CRJ-900 specifications.
