The Boeing 757-300 is a stretched version of the 757-200, extending the fuselage by 23 feet 4 inches to accommodate up to 280 passengers. It is the longest single-aisle twinjet aircraft ever produced by Boeing. The 757-300 maintains the excellent performance characteristics of its shorter sibling while offering 20% more capacity. Despite its capabilities, only 55 aircraft were produced between 1998 and 2004. The 757-300 serves primarily high-density short-to-medium routes and remains popular with leisure airlines.
