The Boeing 757-200 is a single-aisle twinjet known for its exceptional performance, particularly in hot-and-high conditions and for transatlantic routes. With powerful engines and excellent range, the 757-200 became the workhorse for medium-haul and ETOPS operations. Its 757 common type rating with the 767 reduced training costs. Produced from 1982 to 2004, it remains popular with cargo operators and charter airlines for its reliability and cargo capacity. Over 1,050 aircraft were built, making it one of Boeing's most successful narrowbody designs.
