Boeing 727-200 Advanced
Boeing Commercial Airplanes

About
The Advanced 727-200 is the last and heaviest 727: lower community noise, higher gross and landing weights, better take-off and stopping distances, more fuel and forward airstairs. Boeing tabulates four certified standards from 185,800 to 210,000 lb ramp and this row carries the highest. The JT8D-17R option adds Automatic Performance Reserve, worth 1,400 to 4,100 kg of take-off weight at a hot, high airport. The cruise speed, cruise Mach, range, ceiling, climb rate and take-off distance are EUROCONTROL's figures for the B722 type code rather than a certificate's: a type certificate states limits and weights, not cruise performance, and the source does not distinguish sub-variants. Cabin width and height are Boeing's own, from Boeing D6-58324, 727 Airplane Characteristics for Airport Planning, section 2.5, page 19: interior trim to trim 140 in (356 cm), 86.3 in (219 cm) floor to ceiling.
