Boeing 727-200
Boeing Commercial Airplanes

About
The 727-200 is the 727-100 stretched by 6.1 m, to 46.68 m, on the same 32.92 m wing. It seats 134 in two classes, 155 all-tourist, and is certified for 189 — its exit limit. Boeing calls this the standard 727-200 to distinguish it from the Advanced, and gives it a single weight standard at 173,000 lb ramp against the Advanced's four. The cruise speed, cruise Mach, range, ceiling, climb rate and take-off distance are EUROCONTROL's figures for the B722 type code rather than a certificate's: a type certificate states limits and weights, not cruise performance, and the source does not distinguish sub-variants. Cabin width and height are Boeing's own, from Boeing D6-58324, 727 Airplane Characteristics for Airport Planning, section 2.5, page 19: interior trim to trim 140 in (356 cm), 86.3 in (219 cm) floor to ceiling.
