The Airbus A350-900 is the baseline variant of the A350 XWB family and one of the most technologically advanced commercial aircraft in service. Making its first flight in June 2013 and entering service with Qatar Airways in January 2015, the A350-900 seats 325 passengers in a three-class configuration and offers a range of 15,370 km (8,300 nm). With 53% composite materials, titanium and modern aluminum alloys, the A350-900 provides 25% lower operating costs than the aircraft it replaces (A340-300, Boeing 777-200ER). Over 520 A350-900s have been delivered, making it the more popular variant. The aircraft features a quiet cabin, large windows, LED lighting, and excellent passenger comfort.
