The Airbus A330-300 was the first variant of the A330 family to be developed, making its maiden flight on November 2, 1992, and entering service with Air Inter (now Air France) in January 1994. Designed as a medium-to-long-range wide-body aircraft, the A330-300 typically seats 295 passengers in a three-class configuration and can fly up to 11,750 km (6,340 nmi). With 776 aircraft delivered, it was the most successful A330 variant until production ended in 2024. The A330-300 became particularly popular with European and Asian airlines for both continental and intercontinental routes, valued for its efficiency, range, and passenger comfort.
