Airbus SAS

The Airbus A330 is a wide-body twin-engine jet airliner that first flew in 1992 and entered service in 1994. Developed alongside the four-engine A340, the A330 shares 95% parts commonality including the same fuselage, wings, and cockpit. The family consists of the shorter A330-200 and longer A330-300 variants, plus the re-engined A330neo (A330-800 and A330-900) launched in 2014. With over 1,650 aircraft delivered as of 2025, the A330 has become one of the most successful wide-body programs. It pioneered twin-engine ETOPS operations on long-haul routes. The A330 serves on both medium-haul and ultra-long-haul routes, offering airlines flexibility and efficiency.
