Airbus SAS

The Airbus A319 is a shortened derivative of the A320, launched in 1995 and entering service in 1996. Shortened by 3.73 meters compared to the A320, the A319 typically seats 124-156 passengers. With over 1,500 delivered, it has been highly successful, particularly popular with European low-cost carriers and for routes with moderate demand. The A319 offers excellent range for its size, making it suitable for transcontinental routes. It serves as the basis for the Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ319) and military variants. The A319neo entered service in 2019, offering improved fuel efficiency. The A319 has proven to be versatile, reliable, and economical.
