Details

The PZL M28 Skytruck is a licence-built Antonov An-28 grown up in Poland on Canadian engines and Western avionics — a strut-braced high-wing eighteen-seater with a rear ramp, certified in the commuter category and still built at Mielec. Its 22.06 m span on a 13.10 m fuselage is what lets it work off strips nothing else its size will use. The cruise speed, maximum speed, climb rate and ceiling are PZL Mielec's published figures for the M28 05, the current production aeroplane; the manufacturer does not publish them separately for the earlier marks.
