Bombardier CRJ-1000

About
The Bombardier CRJ-1000 (originally launched as the CRJ-900X) is the largest member of the CRJ family, designed to accommodate up to 100 passengers. First delivered in 2011, the CRJ-1000 features an even longer fuselage than the CRJ-900, upgraded CF34-8C5A1 engines with increased thrust, and enhanced performance capabilities. Despite offering excellent operating economics and high commonality with the CRJ700 and CRJ900, the CRJ-1000 had limited commercial success with only 63 aircraft delivered. The type competes in the highly competitive 100-seat category and represents the culmination of CRJ Next-Generation design evolution. Production ended in 2020 as part of the overall CRJ program conclusion when Mitsubishi Heavy Industries acquired the program.
