Boeing 777-300
Boeing Commercial Airplanes

About
The Boeing 777-300 is a stretched version of the 777-200, extended by 33.25 feet (10.1 meters) to become the world's longest twin-engine jet at the time. Launched in 1998, it was designed to replace aging Boeing 747-100/200 aircraft with similar capacity but better economics. The 777-300 can carry up to 550 passengers and was particularly popular with Asian airlines for high-density regional routes. While the basic 777-300 has limited range, it paved the way for the highly successful 777-300ER extended-range variant. Production of the standard 777-300 was limited, with most customers choosing the ER version.
