Boeing Commercial Airplanes

The Boeing 767 is a wide-body twin-engine jet airliner that revolutionized medium to long-haul air travel. Introduced in 1982, it was Boeing's first wide-body twinjet and features a two-crew glass cockpit, removing the need for a flight engineer. The 767 shares a common type rating with the Boeing 757, reducing pilot training costs. Known for its reliability and fuel efficiency, the 767 pioneered Extended Range Twin Engine Operations (ETOPS), opening new transatlantic and transpacific routes. The family includes the 767-200, 767-300, and 767-400ER variants, plus numerous freighter versions. Over 1,200 aircraft have been delivered, and it remains in production as the 767-2C for military tanker use.
