The Boeing 747-8 is the largest and final variant of the iconic Boeing 747 family. Featuring a lengthened fuselage, raked wingtips, and new GEnx engines, the 747-8 Intercontinental offers 51 additional seats and burns 11% less fuel per seat than its predecessor. At 250 feet 2 inches long, it held the title of world's longest airliner until the 777X. The 747-8F freighter variant became the backbone of modern cargo aviation. Production ended in 2023 after 50+ years of 747 legacy, with 155 aircraft delivered.
