The Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG) series represents the third generation of the 737 family, featuring CFM56-7 engines, a modernized glass cockpit, larger wing with increased fuel capacity, and improved aerodynamics. Introduced in 1997, the NG series includes the -600, -700, -800, and -900ER variants, with over 7,000 aircraft delivered. The 737-800 became the best-selling 737 variant of all time.
