The Boeing 737-200 was a stretched version of the 737-100, featuring a longer fuselage and improved performance. Introduced in 1968, it became far more popular than the -100, with 1,114 aircraft delivered. The -200 established the 737 as a successful short-to-medium range airliner and remained in production until 1988.
