About

The Avro RJ100 is the largest variant of the Avro RJ family, based on the BAe 146-300 with significant technological improvements. Introduced in 1992, it features a modern digital cockpit, advanced avionics, and fuel-efficient Honeywell LF 507 turbofans. Seating 100-128 passengers, the RJ100 offers the best seat-mile economics in the family while maintaining the signature quiet operation and exceptional short-field performance. The aircraft's four-engine configuration provides excellent climb performance and allows access to airports with challenging terrain. Popular with airlines requiring larger regional capacity combined with operational flexibility, the RJ100 became a success in various markets worldwide. Production continued until 2002, with 41 units built.
