Antonov An-30

Antonov

About

An An-24 airframe rebuilt for aerial survey, with a glazed navigator’s nose and camera ports in the cabin floor, later the aeroplane of choice for Open Skies observation flights. The Interstate Aviation Committee noise register lists the An-30 and An-30D on certificate № 42 of 19 January 1994 with Ivchenko AI-24VT engines and AV-72T propellers. Its certified masses are not published anywhere reachable: the type certificate has lapsed and no archive of it exists.
