Antonov An-140

Antonov

About

A twin-turboprop regional airliner designed by Antonov as a replacement for the An-24, and built both in Kharkiv and, as the An-140-100, at Aviakor in Samara. Its certified masses come from the Interstate Aviation Committee type certificate СТ 184-Ан-140: a maximum take-off mass of 21,000 kg, a maximum landing mass of 21,000 kg — unusually, the same figure — a maximum zero-fuel mass of 19,100 kg and a maximum payload of 6,000 kg. Two TV3-117VMA-SBM1 turboprops drive six-blade AV-140 propellers, rated at 2,475 shaft horsepower for take-off.
