Airbus A300-600R
Airbus SAS

About
The A300-600R adds a tail trim tank — 6,150 litres in the horizontal stabiliser, moving fuel aft to trim the aeroplane in cruise — and 6.7 tonnes of take-off weight, for 68,150 litres of fuel against the -600's 62,000. Certified in March 1988, it is the last and heaviest passenger A300 and the version most of the surviving fleet flies. Cruise speed, range, ceiling and climb rate are EUROCONTROL's figures for the A306 type code rather than a certificate's: a type certificate states limits and weights, not cruise performance, and the source does not distinguish sub-variants.
