Airbus SAS

The Airbus A321 is the stretched variant of the A320 family, extended by 6.94 meters to become the longest single-aisle aircraft from Airbus. Launched in 1989 and entering service in 1994, the A321 typically seats 185-220 passengers. With over 2,900 delivered, it has become increasingly popular, particularly the A321neo which entered service in 2017. The A321LR (Long Range) and A321XLR (Xtra Long Range) variants offer unprecedented range for single-aisle aircraft, capable of flying transatlantic routes. The A321 has proven ideal for scope-restricted US airlines and high-density short-haul routes. Its success continues with strong demand for neo variants.
